Ten women tell their stories
edited by Joy Wilson
Stories told by ten women who were all born just prior to World War 2 and went to the same high school in Sydney from 1951 to 1955. Now they are in their mid-eighties and are weathering the COVID-19 pandemic.
Across the decades, they have lived through dramatic changes – technological, political, cultural, and social. They knew a world without antibiotics, television, the internet, and computers. They saw the rise of feminism. They are experiencing the rise of a cashless society. At each twist and turn, they have adapted.
Here, they share their life stories, their interests, and more. They want to be remembered – and so they write for you, and for future generations.
