Interesting Times for Interesting People
by Norman Potter
Foxground Wild Country Park, near Berry on the south coast of NSW, was established in 1962 by well-known Australian photographer, Jeff Carter, as a home for endangered and injured native wildlife, which became a tourist attraction. The Park, with educational presentations, was visited by schools, aged care groups and the general public. For many, the Park became a human refuge.
These are some of the stories about the interesting people who visited the Park, as told to the Park Keeper, who purchased the Park from Jeff Carter, and with his family, managed and lived at the Park for over ten years.
