Nellie Scott Harrison (nee Mosman) (1897-1989) recorded for her descendants, the stories of her life, her family and her Wilson, Scott and Mosman ancestors who came to Australia in the 1800s, also of the family of her husband, Arthur Harrison. These families settled in northern NSW around Port Macquarie and the suburb of Mosman, on Sydney's lower north shore, named after Archibald Mosman. Includes details of the Mosman family's ancestral home, "Auchtyfardle" in Scotland, stories from her childhood written for her children, her recipes and many family photos. Written in the 1970s & 1980s, Nellie's Journal, together with additional family information was compiled for publication by her granddaughter, almost 30 years after Nellie's death.
