In her Memoir, Joanna tells her life story from her birth to Irish parents in the north of England during World War II to the family’s immigration to Queensland and her life in Australia. She includes information of her Irish ancestry in Northern Ireland with McKinley and Miller family trees.

This story was written for her sister, Elvena, who could not remember the important early events in their lives, and for her daughters, and for her grandchildren.

Published privately in paperback in February 2018 in limited numbers for family and friends. 94 pages, with family trees and images.
